Enrich Education and the Children’s University are delighted to announce that during this October we will be hosting our first virtual Children’s University Weekend Club.

The Weekend Clubs are free, informal, fun, and engaging online classes that children can participate in at home during the weekends. The Weekend Club sessions will take place on a monthly basis throughout the next academic year, with a different subject focus every month from Art & Crafts, History, Maths, English and many more.  The sessions provide an excellent opportunity for pupils to broaden their knowledge and understanding of a variety of subjects.

30th October 2021:  10.00am until 10.30am  In the first session the subject will be Art and will focus on developing knowledge and understanding of ‘Post Impressionism’ through the work of Vincent Van Gogh. With participating children developing a range of different drawing techniques and skills. The session will have a Halloween theme and participants will have the opportunity to develop their very own 'Spooky Stary Night' landscape picture The session will be delivered by Charlotte Bradshaw a Merseyside based art practitioner, with a fine art and sculpture background and decades of teaching experience. Charlotte's industry experience has also seen her work as a prosthetic makeup artist on a range of TV shows.
