The visitor centre has an interactive exhibition, a classroom and offer pre arranged tours of the power station. The exhibition, with the use of interactive models, touch screen computers and information panels explains how electricity is generated in a nuclear power station. It also covers safety on site, radiation, nuclear waste and other forms of electricity generation. 

Children can earn a 1 hours stamp for a general visit.

Throughout the summer 2018 the Visitor Centre will be running a series of events as part of the Year of Engineering for primary aged children including eg using thermal imaging.  Children can earn up to 2 hours if participating in these activities.

Children aged 11+ will be able to take part in a fascinating tour of the Power Station and can earn a 3 hour stamp in their Passport.
