A truly magical venue for a great family day out. Tudor house, gardens & rare breeds farm. Amazing events throughout the year including Tudor re-enactments, Historical & Children's Magical Weekends, Kentwell's School of Sorcery & Dickensian Christmas.

Children can earn up to 3 hours in their Passport for a general visit and self-guided tour and an additional hour for the Story Book or Egg (seasonal) Trails.  These can be collected from the shop.

For the following re-creation days they can earn up to 5 hours:

Tudor May Day was one of the most joyous occasions in the Tudor Year.   The event will have music and dancing, processions and lively plays of period.

Kentwell Thru’ the Ages presents pockets of everyday life covering over two millennia from Stone Age Camp to the 1970’s, with a dozen or more Ages in between.   Each Age re-creates an aspect of daily life of the time.

Tudor Midsummer Everyday life at a country Manor during the reign of Henry VIII. Gentry, workers, cooking, crafts, music and dance.

The Hall at War How the country household responded in WWI, with hopes for an end of war in 1981.   Also features WWII activities and Long Bow Archers.

Tudor Hands-On History Days An opportunity for the whole family to try their hand at a wide range of Tudor activities.  

Over 200 Tudors bring the manor to life, the biggest Re-Creation of everyday life in Tudor England.

Tudor Michelmas At the time of mists and mellow fruitfulness.   Includes Apple Days – find out more about the fruit.

Dickensian Christmas Spend the day in 1869.  See a Victorian-style household, with family and staff.  Dickens reading; Victorian entertainment; Father Christmas and much, much, much more.
