« Other Public Destinations

The Museum of East Anglian Life is an open-air museum set in 75 acres of countryside in Stowmarket, in the heart of Suffolk.  We tell the story of our region and the people who lived here, through 20 historic buildings, the landscape, rare breeds of animals, gardens and around 40,000 objects.  We hold events throughout the year, family activities during the holidays, a schools programme and much more.  We are a registered charity and a social enterprise.

The Museum offers drop in and bookable sessions throughout the open season (late March to November) every school holiday.  They may include animation workshops, Mud Bugs and Baking session, trails and more.

Some activities may occur an additional charge.  Year long memberships to the Museum are available.
