Essex Outdoors offers a range of high quality and affordable outdoor learning programmes at centres across Essex and beyond.  In particular, Essex Outdoors provides outdoor learning opportunities to young people.  Our centres offer a wide variety of different courses ranging from outdoor learning programmes to Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, leadership training for all, first aid, kids after school clubs (and climbing) and national governing body awards.

Activities on offer range from bushcraft and mountain biking to climbing, sailing and power boating.  The learning opportunities range from personal discovery, confidence building and teamwork/leadership skills to the development of hard technical skills and the achievement of nationally recognised qualifications.  These qualifications can be in areas such as the Royal Yachting Association, the British canoe Union, Mountain Training Leadership England amongst others.
