Children can collect stamps when they take apart in the following activities at Colchester Zoo:

Learning at the Zoo Activity Packs

Children learn about natural history and animals including learning about endangered species.  They will observe live animals and learn from a variety of sources eg reading educational signs, attending feeding sessions and shows. 3 different Activity Packs are available to download and print out from the Colchester Zoo website by clicking here.    Children can complete as much of each booklet on any one day as they like    (up to a maximum of 6 hours)    and get it stamped at Guest Services when they've finished.

Kid's Zoo Academy (either Fledgling Keeper or Zoo Cadet)

Children learn about animals including how we care for animals and what it's like to be a zoo keeper.  Participants will get to experience being a zoo keeper and having hands-on, behind the scenes learning experiences with some of the animals.  For more information about these experiences please click here.

Please note that only hours gained for these activities will count - not just general visits to the Zoo.
